We are trying to install a EV cruise control unit from a wreck on 92
Eurovan camper. Everything has gone together so far but the cruise control
doesn't work and neither do the 4 way flashers or horn.
Check the following.
1) Electrical connections in steering column.
2) Do the turn signals work? If so check the contacts on hazard light
switch.
3) Did you install The VSS in the back of the speedometer?
4) The VSS connection from the instrument panel to the Cruise control
computer is made using a jumper on the fuse block.
5)The pin for the 12v connection for the cruise, as shown in the electrical
diagrams, is used by Westfalia in the campers. You have to use an adjacent
pin.
