I purchased a 2000 EVC on 2/21/00 at Williams Auto World, Lansing Michigan.
The dealer offered me an extended warranty 7yr/100k miles for approx $1400.
He said I can purchase the warranty for that price until 6/1/00 (claims his
price increases in June). He also said that I can purchase the warranty any
time before 24months/24k miles (but price may be higher after June). Sounds
like a lot of money to me so I am going to wait and see how things go for a
year or so.
I think the name of the company that offers the warranty is CNA?, I will
check. My experience with any and every new car purchase is that companies
will send you offers in the mail to extend warranties. The trick is to get
them to pay.
