Okay - sorry for not reading your full email - yes you will need to remove the lower wheel arch interior panel - that will give you access to reach the nut. ?

Theirs is a nut on the backside that you must find a way to grab hold of. I think I used a smallish crescent wrench to do it. ?Be VERY careful not to let the nut drop down as you might never see it again. ?I think I hand unscrewed it the last few turns so I could hold it. ?
