How to remove rear seat seatbelts?

I keep turning this bolt (right rear bottom) and nothing…

How do you remove this? Take the panel off?? Ugh.?

Thx,
Serge?

Yes,unfortunately you need to remove the fender panel. There is a nut on the back.

Theirs is a nut on the backside that you must find a way to grab hold of. I think I used a smallish crescent wrench to do it. ?Be VERY careful not to let the nut drop down as you might never see it again. ?I think I hand unscrewed it the last few turns so I could hold it. ? Wear protective gloves. ? The metal is very rough / sharp.

Good luck!!?

Okay - sorry for not reading your full email - yes you will need to remove the lower wheel arch interior panel - that will give you access to reach the nut. ?

Apologies for skipping that step - I did t scrutinize your photo to see that you hadn’t already removed it.?

The "fender panel"? You mean the?interior plastic panel?

To remove the interior panel... all the screws around the edge, I presume?

Thx,
Serge

Okay, I think I get it now.? I have to remove that plastic interior panel to get access to the nut so I can hold it while removing the bolt.

Is it similar on the left side?

Thanks,
Serge

You’ve got it down so far. ?The drivers side has a plastic cover that comes off without removing the seat belt I think. ?It’s the one that covers the heating ducts.
