Have you considered using jb weld to glue it back together and get back on the road? ? Or find a local welder to weld it

The broken part is #26 on this diagram:
We are on a road trip and one of the arms of the shifter linkage has broken on our 95 EVC. It is not the usual bushing issues and I can see the actual broken cast aluminum arm.
?Anyone have any recommendations for a vw repair shop in the Petoskey/Charlevoix area?? Also any recommendations for where we can source the shifter arm itself???
