Yep.? My 95 EVC has been through a few CV joints over the?years and they can get quite?noisy.? Here's two recordings I did when the passenger side had two good boots but something was obviously wrong.? It just got louder and more consistent?from here:

I've been thinking about the issue of the cv joints and the severe knocking noise. Perhaps the issue is a loose or bad transmission mount as the boots are still intact on the axle. Has anyone had this? knocking adjacent to tyranny on driver's side when van is in motion?
