I have done outer CV joints and full drive axles on my Eurovans.? I woudn't say that they are any harder than on most vehicles but do require some knowhow and muscle.? I did a drivers side on my 2002 full drive axle recently and it took me about 3 hours (having already done one a few years ago).? you need the 12pt. tool (i forget the size, maybe 8mm) and I needed a small pry bar for the transmission side.? It took some wrestling but wasn't overly frustrating.? I would recommend a full axle replacement (I got a quality lobro one for under $400 online) instead of pulling them and rebuilding the CV's. hope that helps
