The Sharan is a much smaller vehicle, more like a larger station wagon. The
configuration I saw seats only six. I would never trade in my EV for this
tiny box. The EV is usually not listed under passenger cars on European web
sited but check out the truck page. The EV is the best selling van in
Europe. We only get the very expensive top of the line version here. In
Germany you can get it with rubber floor instead of carpet (for construction
crews etc.), with a tiny Diesel engine, with cardboard paneling in the
doors, and hand cranks for the windows. You can also get vinyl seats! The
base version is much cheaper than our $30 000+ EV.
