I¡¯m kind of lost? What about the airport security factor. This is the only form of chapter communication I am apart of so I like it if we¡¯re talking about that.

Also a quick update on the large event at the airport. After coordinating with star flight training and CAP, are both on board, but we are going to start planning the event hopefully for the summer of 2025 brining back my note from some time ago.?

Re: My Project Zenith 650

Frank/All:? I did use a piece of said carpet to put on the ground last spring (and the spring prior) when I was performing the annual condition inspection on my airplane.? ?I would suggest leaving at least one piece of carpet for such purpose, it makes being on the hanger floor much more comfortable.

Thank you,

I¡¯m not familiar with the concrete counterweights, but I might be willing to put them in my hangar.

I currently use an 80lb bucket of concrete mix when I need counterweights for my LongEZ.

All,

1. I have been at the hangar working on my project with help thank goodness. I brought my shop vac to clean the floor. Anyone else wants to do some vacuuming feel free to use it. There is much we can do to improve the usefulness of the hangar. Example: Since no major maintenance is being done or will be done, I would like to store or dispose of those concrete counterweights that are continuously in the way. That is just one idea. I know we have discussed many things, but we need to figure how to get more use of our only resource.

?2. Please ..... if you are running an engine outside the hangar, please...please make sure the prop blast is not directed towards the inside of the hangar or the hangar door even if closed. Dust and dirt still will blow into the hangar even if the doors are closed. We actually have tumble weeds inside the hangar.

?

Feel free to comment as this is our house. I will try to update as necessary and if you want to help with the hangar project, I'll be glad to see that your time is valued. Small steps lead to big change.

The parade is on the 9th and the fly by would be on Monday the 11th(Veterans Day)at 1:30.? I'm sure the tower would give a clearance.

I was told the 12th on a Tuesday. Not sure if this is an event. There are minimum altitudes to be aware of. Either way those involveded should be comfortable with formation flying unless there is a different plan. FYI Bob and Anne are doing this but will not fly with a group. That is understandable given logistics. Needs discussion.
