I just did a trial issue from the publisher for the print versions... I think it is about time to try a subscription. If I have to choose 1, which would you all recommend? Thanks - Tamra |

开云体育They could well be discussing the "LCD and Keypad Shield". This was used on the version 6 system. I continued with it when I did some mods to that software but I have now dumped the concept of using the single analogue input for a 5 button keypad. I have modded my software to use 5 discrete inputs (and I note that the Russian Ver 7 has done something similar). In future I would only ever use the analogue option for a quick solution during testing some code.In Ver7 the inputs used are A0 onwards (but as digital inputs). 开云体育I would offer that declining quantities of issues being sold in
brick & mortar stores like B&N, as a
reason for discontinuation.....Shelf space is very
competitive.....
.
Good Luck on your search!

Thanks Richard, I'll keep looking. The discussions?on the CNC forum talked about having a Shield for the LED, from version 6, I suppose once I find the wiring diagram I will have the answer. Ralph On Thu, Aug 20, 2020 at 12:24 PM Richard <edelec@...> wrote:

Russian RELS wiring

I have not found a wiring diagram for Oleg's latest version of his RELS.
Would the diagram Charlie made up work? I also see from the discussion there is a shield for the 16x2 LED can we still wire direct as was done with the translated RELS? I found the download site from chipmaker.ru, what a pain having to wait a minute in order to do a download but I do not think there is a wiring diagram in the download, which I have not really looked at yet. I had about made up my mind to go with the translated RELS now it looks like I need to go with the original Russian version I might just go for John Danmeyers ELS it seems simpler. Also?Jon Bryan has a nice version. Jon is also looking for a site to host his discussions about his version. Hello, All,
Just an FYI for those who might be interested... John Lindo and I have, over the years, co-written several articles for Village Press, the publishers of The Home Shop Machinist, Digital Machinist, and several other magazines. An article we wrote on a Tooling Plate for mini-mills will appear in the Sept/Oct 2020 issue of The Home Shop Machinist. The cover and first page of the article are shown below, in case you wish to look for it on the newsstand! I hope everyone is well and is staying safe as the COVID-19 pandemic continues on. -- Regards, Charlie New Jersey, USA There IS no cloud!? It's just someone else's computer. |

Re: The Russian Electronic Leadscrew

Frustration is 'free' with all systems, yes?? I have planet CNC TNG on my CNC router, and I would really like the ability to disable some functions in the software; this was my renewed reason for wanting to be able to login again and the CNC Forum.
I paid for my mach3 license.? (I am hopeful we both speak English.) If I can't muddle through with some local support after I dig through the manual, then so I'll pay tech support when I get there. I hope to get back to that particular project in September, as I have a 4th axis class as a scheduled participant. But it is nice to have another option. Tamra |
