Opening up the group - and other players, reposted
Seems I am subcribed to the list, so sending a message that was bounced from the old grou.

Hi Adrian and all, Not sure what you mean by internet radio and web radio.? what's the difernce? Internet/web radio sounds similar in fuctionality to what's provided on the Blindshell Classic 2 phone which has similar options for searching and navigating by country.? I still have problems though finding some UK station, for example, Angel Radio Isle of Wight.? I think it maybe the data base its linking to is out-of-date for that particular station. So I am hoping that in time the BC2 phone will tet the ability to import station links or playlists.? Will the Milestone do this? The Milestone used to have an odd feature whereby you could transmit its sound via an internal FM transmiter to a standard band 2 FM radio.? I would think that's gone with the use of Bluetooth these days. I believe you have addressed the issue of including DAISY in this listsdescription to make clear it includes this format along with other audio file types. Ray. Yes the milestone 312 ace wifi has access to both web radio and internet radio, it is slightly different, it is not ootunes like on the stream but you can search them by country or genre, a bit fiddly but once you have the hang of it you are ok. The three players I have all do different things, all have their pros and cons. If you are all for my changing the scope of this group, then I may need to change a few things on the group website including the email address, not sure how to do that but it must be possible. Leave it with me. ? As for the milestone Ray, it is a nice piece of equipment, it is small enough to keep around my neck all day long and not weigh hardly anything, I use it all the time now, much more than my vr stream, as they are no longer up-grading the stream I needed a device that has a future and for me although it was an expensive gadget, it was definitely a good investment buying the milestone 312 ace wifi, it has a lot going for it, it plays audible books, daisy and much more, it has loads of other features and they are adding more to it in time. ? I have considered buying the new Milestone player so thoughts on it would be good to hear.

开云体育HI Claire ? The voices on the evo 10/12 are ivona voices I think, it uses Amy and others so they are very clear. I know the new stella treck is far too expensive too, the milestone 312 ace is very good, I am not bothered about the speed of the voice but as long as I can understand it and I do prefer the American voices in any case, I use them on most of my players, some of the english voices are a bit boring. I use my milestone with a bluetooth speaker too so the milestone has several advantages over the stream or evo devices. I have heard that the recording on the evo 12 isn’t as clear as the evo 10. ? ? opening up the group

I was wondering if any members on here had any objections to opening up this group for more of the devices we use with our mp3 books, for example I use the evo10 and milestone 312 ace wifi as well as my vr streams, it would be good to have a group for discussing these devices, I know they are discussed on other groups but as this group is very quiet, try and open it up a bit.
