Okay, Caralyn's comment is clearly related to the US Trek as such a protection dongle isn't required as yet here in the UK.
Its revealing re. delivery, that we aren't the only one's in the UK to have a less than perfect roll-out of the Trek.? Something HW should watch considering the competition from mainstream suppliers.
