Re: Greetings from the UK

Hi again List.

Clive's comment about sticking with the VRS2 is interesting as I think someone else has said that here too.? I won't of course get the full value of my VR Trek until I do learn to use the orientation application.? That said, I will say that the Trek is a good deal faster than its predecessor.? It boots more quickly; downloads of podcast are speedier.? I think firmware downloads are snappier too if the recent update to give us UK post codes and Audible support is anything to go by.

I do have one problem I'll start another thread to describe, namely, the problem of switching between National BBC streams in the UK playlist.? I venture to ask though before I attempt to describe the problem whether anyone else with a Trek is having a problem here.

No doubt list traffic will be busier when we have the FM radio app going in the next update.

I wonder where Humanware will take the Trek in future, (or do I mean "going forward" as is often said now!? Could other app funtions be incorporated??? Ability to stream podcasts as well as download them?? Access to the BBC iPlayer - (although accessing your BBC account could be a stumpling block here.)Alarms, Count down timer?

Well, all that possibly for another thread like Trek wish list.

Ray.
