The Outlook account can send and receive emails from normal email addresses and can also be used to send messages into the Winlink system but you have to do a few special things in order to get the Winlink system to accept the messages.

On the To: line start with “wl2k:” followed by the address you are sending the message to and on the Subject: line you have to start with WL2K//.? Remember to make sure not to send any commercial items in the message or they will be rejected by Winlink.? So, no adds of any sort are allowed.
