The gate seems to be sensing the touch tone from the phone system to determine its behavior. The problem is, if the gate is open indefinitely or for a 30 min stretch, my little momentary contact closure from the control system won't close the gate.
I am looking for a widget that can issue touch tones (at least buttons 1-4)
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: Brute-force parsing of an XML stream ? (cc128 Current Cost)
Guess I mis-read the documentation then. I copied & pasted the sample XML they had there - which I thought was for the 2-hour response - and even allowed for the 9 appliances they alluded to. It was still under 2k.
Regardless, you can set up a 65k buffer in S+ if you need to, so you're still covered with 32k of data.

Those 2-hour messages don't look like they get bigger than 2k worth of data - which ain't a lot...

Re: Brute-force parsing of an XML stream ? (cc128 Current Cost)
My lovely wife bakes a lot (saves money on bought cakes & cookies etc).
Before I hooked in the WattsClever meter, she'd put the oven on to pre-heat, get distracted by the phone or the kids or something then come back an hour later to put the culinary creation in.
In my module I plug in cents/kWh as a parameter and output cost in cents/hr and $/day on the touchpanel. I showed her the difference in instantaneous use between oven on and oven off. She now only turns the oven on after making the mix.

Hi Marc,
We have that device in here in Australia where it's called WattsClever.
I wrote a module that parses the stream using nothing but SIMPL. Gather on 47d ("/"). Use an STOA for each XML tag that you want to read then convert the ASCII characters to analogs using your choice of method as taught in Intermediate class... use an ARAM to store the analogs for further processing.
The only complication is the yearly value which has more than 5 digits (bigger than a 16-bit analog).
Enjoy - maybe it'll help to get people to turn the oven off when they don't need it... ;-)

Hey Group,
I'm working on a CurrentCost Envi cc128 device. It's a power meter, and its RS232 output can (and will) spit power consumption data.
It outputs a realtime and short xml stream whenever it gets a reading from one of its meters.
It also outputs a set of possibly very long xml data sets every two hours.
I'm parsing the "realtime" data just fine. I even put together a cool little graph using the Google Charts module from XXXXX.
Problem is, now I gather the string and search for the tags i'm looking for. I suspect that won't work with the very long xml for daily, weekly and monthly data.
I'm not willing to parse and store all the data. Far from that, I'm only willing to retrieve one or two days of hourly history, one or two weeks, and one of two months. The idea is to generate history charts for one hour, one day, one week, one month. Well, maybe one year too.
For that I should read data as it flows through my module. How would you gurus do that ?

There is no wizard style switching tab. You must do all the programming from the programming view withing SB.
So lets say you want to switch Output 1 to input 3. Highlight the object you want to program (e.g. button, global preset etc) then in the device tree of the programming view select the DM switch then select the output you want to effect then type in 3d for the input. Meaning input 3 (or 3d...same thing) will be routed to output 1.

I can't find anything similar with Adagio.

So this is the first iPad I've used and until today everything was going great. I've been working with this control system for a couple days and everything was fine. I was only making minor changes and little things that were missed so nothing really changed. Now Mobile Pro G seems to keep locking up.
Sometimes as soon as the flash page loads its already locked and nothing happens. The time at the top of the screen doesnt change or anything. When it doesnt lock up from the start, it always locks up when you press the 3rd item on a list control from the main page. Once that is pressed it becomes unresponsive, server one disconnects, than a minute or two later it connects to server 2. The panel than flashes with the right sub pages and immedietly goes to "Updating". You can see the updates sent from the processor in the debugger and 2 seconds later server 2 disconnects...the panel gets stuck on "Updating" and eventually connects to server 1 a few minutes later back and forth until you quit the app and restart the program.
I tried deleting the list control and making a new one. It worked for a few minutes after the new upload but now the same problem is occuring. Any help would be appreciated! It's extremely frustrating because it was working fine the last few days and now that I'm 99% done it's all going to hell.
Thanks, Jacob
