ya, POWR? ?0CR and POWR? ?1CR is what we're using. Its acting like it isnt receiving a command however im getting responses in debugger and putty. feeling like its a setting in the display but we've been round and round with them

Just did one, going by memory, I think the commands were:
PWR[3spaces]1 then the CR, power off replace 1 with 0
the manual has all the info

Check to see if you have Horizon keypads in your program. We've been having the similar issues loading programs and we found a Crestron article from October detailing that there is an issue with D3 and loading programs with Horizon keypads with the latest device database. You have to roll ack your Device Database to 200.295.001.00 and you'll have no issues loading your programs.?

Has anyone successfully gotten control via 232 or LAN? If so, how? We've been through all the display settings but can not get it to work, though it seems we are communicating. Same results via Putty - indecipherable Rx. Based on the Rx I would guess baud rate, but trying both 115 and 96 yields no better results.?

Yup. Also had a strange issue with a brand new laptop. D3 will not compile correctly. Had to save it in dropbox, open it up in my old laptop which the power connection is literally hanging out, recompile it and then load. Wasted many hours with TB trying to trace the problem. It has 32 gig ram, SSD drive. WTF.

On a more positive note BACnet does seem to be improved.

Have you tried the consumer codes? ?RS-232 codes look the same as consumer, maybe the IR is the same . . .

I have not been able to find an IR driver that will control Sony Professional displays.? Unfortunately, I don't have another control option in this instance.? The specific model is FW-50BZ30L.? Any help would be appreicated.

Yes, for devices that sent in for repair & are CA SB-327 compliant ("first boot mode" requires creation of custom admin creds), the RMA team applies admin:Crestron123.

When checking if a device truly has AUTH creds applied, I find it's best to check with a SSH console like PuTTY rather than Toolbox.
If AUTH isn't enabled, the default SSH login will be crestron:<blank> (just hit enter when prompted for password).
If the device is CA SB-327 compliant, it'll then give first-boot-mode prompt to create custom admin creds.
If the default SSH login isn't accepted, that's confirmation that custom auth creds were already applied.

Toolbox does this (SSH login w/ default crestron:<blank>) behind the scenes, and just presents users with the first-boot-mode creds prompt.

The last few items I got back from repair had admin/Crestron123 set for the username and password.

We just went through that yesterday.? Only one unit but it took *forever* for that Recovery Procedure to complete.? Support was involved so they must be becoming aware of the problem.

I uploaded the .pkg to the file section. I was using crestron home so the menu button is tied to the settings button, if I was using Simpl I would have tied that button somewhere else, you can remap it in Device Learner if needed.?
