You don't need a ton of processing power for Crestron software, other than some programs being single threaded, where core speed will launch apps faster. Definitely get a SSD and 8GB RAM is fine. I

I'm not that familiar with the SWAMP, but have you checked if there is an option, either with toolbox or on the SIMPL symbol, to disable the amp power off? Seems to me this should be optional behavior
