Lutron QSX Keypad monitor possible?
We are about to upgrade an older Homework Illumination system to a QSX system that the previous integrator heavily used the Keypad Monitor Module to control Crestron devices from the Lutron keypads. I do not see the equivalent in the QSX modules, am I just missing it or is this not longer possible?
For example in several rooms the up/down arrows control Crestron blinds tilt/open/close with a button press/hold, blinds move as long as the button is pressed. Thanks for any feedback. |

Via remote support session, Crestron re-applied the room license to the server via Unix console.?
Support was good, Turns out the VC4 needs to connect to the internet/cloud in order to get firmware updates.? ?

VC4-PC3 / lost license multiple times with USB standalone dongle

Anyone have any ideas of how to make a VC4-PC3 stable so that it can find the offline dongle?? First time this happened about a year ago, the VC4 firmware was out of date. After the upgrade and other tweaks by Crestron, the PC3 seemed okay.? Tech arrived on site today and I found that the same unit will no longer recognize the USB license dongle.? Would appreciate any guidance if others have any to offer. Am already on hold w Crestron to get a new case number for this unit.? -- From the unit web page: Your server's Room License is expired, none of your rooms are operational.

HZ-THSTAT Scheduler v1.7

I have a project with (7) of the HZ-THStats with the latest FW and am using the Crestron HZ-THSTAT w5-2 Scheduler v1.7 module. The client has set up some daily schedule as well as 'Away' schedule settings. He's been away for over a month with all TStats in 'Away' mode, and 1-2 of these keep falling out of Away mode to 'run Schedules' mode every 2-3 days. It is always the Kitchen stat and sometimes the MBed stat, but never the others. All are programmed similarly. The only external trigger for the Away and Run Schedules modes are set by steppers which control all of the stats. Anyone seen this behavior??? I won't bother to ask TB as I'm too old to wait for anyone to be interested in this one... |

Whitlock is out of business (got bought by AVI-SPL).? I've had this problem too with other jobs by them.? They haven't been the best about storing uncompiled code on the processor, and apparently their own repositories are hit-or-miss.? More often than not, you're pretty much going to have to start over from scratch, if the previous integrator was Whitlock, unless you get really lucky.

If you change the extension to .zip, it MIGHT have the source code as an SMW or archive zip depending on the compiler settings of the programmer. Otherwise, contact Crestron. They will attempt to contact the programmer, as it is policy that the system owner owns the source code.

According to the release notes you need at least 3-Series FW?1.8001.0214.01, that would exclude MC3s...
I'm wondering where that requirement is coming from because it's basically all CIP communication like with any regular touchpanel. My only guess is that they started developing when that FW version was current and never tested with older ones. |

UC-ENGINE / Flex kit panel shows all joins high on startup
Teams kit connected to DMPS3-4K-250-C.? After a program reload, all subpage visibility joins and even button feedback joins on the panel act like they are high, even though they show the expected behavior in Debugger.? DMPS3 and UC-ENGINE on current firmware.? Any ideas? |

Anyone mange to get one of these working in Crestron? I cannot find a way to get an SSH module to connect to it. The UPS sits on the control subnet of a CP4N and I¡¯ve tried 2 processors. Putty works no problem and I can connect and control the thing via SSH from an Extron processor. The SSH module I¡¯m using in Simpl will successfully connect to other devices fine - just not this one. I¡¯m using the SSH 1.8 symbol in Crestron and when I go to connect, it goes nuts spamming between ¡°not connected¡± and ¡°trying to connect¡±. Same credentials as with putty and extron. |

Please allow me to scream out loud for once: SUCK IT APPLE USERS - h265 streaming is working on Android, it does not on iOS Crestron Go (although it could be older iPad to blame, regardless please don't take the joy from me). I can view h.265 @ 3840x2160@15fps glitch free on Samsung S10/Android 12.
