Re: Analog Mux / Demux?
Short of the quick & easy way out of creating one in S+, I'm not seeing a way of doing this easier in SIMPL. Of course, I wouldn't imagine the internals of an Analog Mux symbol to be much different

Re: TPMC-8X DSW
IIRC, the DSW will not use the wired connection unless it doesn't see the WiFi connection anymore. It doesn't automatically use the wired connection just because it is docked. Frank

Re: Symbol Mismatch error
I can't explain the mismatch issue, but on the TSTAT issue, what's showing up on the front panel of the TSTAT (e.g. Online, Net Fault, Hold, etc.?) IIRC if they're in "Hold" they'll ignore everything

New SIMPL, problems anybody else?
Over the weekend, I upgraded to the new SIMPL, Database, Toolbox, VTPro, etc, and simply recompiled an existing project and reloaded it into my PAC2. CRASH during reboot. I re-sent my project without

Re: vtpro-e hang time
It seems to hang when "exporting fonts" - do the TPS-6L and similar panels have a particular set of fonts that work natively and don't need to be "exported?"

Analog Mux / Demux?
I currently have a module that outputs a series of 50 analog values pulled from a plain-text file. I'd like to essentially demux those values to one analog output, based on one of 50 button presses. I

TPMC-8X DSW
Anyone run into a problem where the 8X won't gracefully switch between wired and wireless ethernet when docking / undocking from the wall? Each adaptor has a static IP. - Jeff

Re: Why does it take soooo long???
I'm at 45sec on a 13" aluminum Macbook in VMWARE. I don't mind the simpl load time - I am getting really sick of the compile time for VTPROe - it always hangs for a minute or two on fonts. Maybe there

Re: MacBook opinions
HAHAHA - Is the heat thing really a big issue? I have a 13.3" Aluminum Macbook and it seems to stay pretty cool. Temp is always about 110-120 DEG F and fan is about 2000rpm.

Re: Comparing Time
That's kind of ironic. You just made me realize that of two modules I recently posted that use the clock driver output, one would be considered "safe", while the other can't...really...be. :) - Chip

Re: Comparing Time
Depending on what the OP needs, look at the Astronomical clock (Speedkey: ACLOCK) and Time Offset (Speedkey: OFFSET) symbols. This is the easiest way (IMO) to pull off comparisons based on fixed

Re: Comparing Time
We have been doing this with and without proximity sensors or motion sensors tied into the security for time outs but in your case you could just use an AND gate with the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCKs Digital

Re: Comparing Time
You can do with analogs (if you have time converted to analog). I tend to use the WHEN or PAST symbols connected to an interlock to keep track of timeofday states (morning, afternoon, evening,
