I will echo what @MQSACK said, use ftp to transfer the compiled program to the processor then use SSH to connect and issue the "progload -p:x" to load the program.? What this gives you is visibility

If you haven't already done so, the first thing I recommend is replacing the power supply. I've had a couple 3-series processors exhibit those exact symptoms and the power supply was the culprit.
