You don't have to put anything on that symbol. The video will pass without a tx or rx defined in the program. If you need to control a device on the Room switch, it HAS to be on the same network or

Kwikset announced a new lock at Cedia that looks very nice and might be a fit for your project. Checkout the obsidian lock. Be aware it won't be available until next year.
