Re: AirMedia Issue
Likely a bandwidth issue. We have noticed that when our airmedia's sit on the main campus network, with all the students downloading whatever it is they download, video and sound tend to suffer a bit.

Re: DM Private Mode Pros/Cons
There are really no meaningful disadvantages to PNM, IMO. Especially with the DMPS, if you take them out of PNM [assuming static addressing] you go from requiring two consecutive IP addresses to

DM Private Mode Pros/Cons
Hi all, I am gearing up for a university install of about 30 rooms. Each will have a DMPS-300-C. I know these use two IP addresses and that Crestron recommends PNM. What are the disadvantages of PNM

Re: X panel and CP3 problems
I have not had a problem like that before either. But I have tried this where you hardcode the IP address and ID into the VTPro project, but then when you open the Xpanel I have to enter all the host

Re: What is the deal with 4K TV's having max resolution of WUXGA

Re: What is the deal with 4K TV's having max resolution of WUXGA
There are two versions that say 4K. You need to be a bit careful. Some have a native resolution of 3840x2160 - these are true 4K displays, some of the first ones required 4 1080p inputs to show 4K

Re: X panel and CP3 problems
Hmmm, I have not had any issues with Xpanel. I typically hard code the IP Address in VTpro, have you tried this or are you simply opening Xpanel and setting IP in settings?

Do they all simply scale to "4K"?

Re: Nest API is now avaialble
I'm sure we'll look into it, but I have no idea whether or not it would be worth it in the long run. To be honest, I've yet to see a Nest thermostat in any of the resi jobs I've worked on (and 99.9%

Has anyone built a DISH IP control module?
I can find articles indicating DISH has an open api, but I have not been able to locate any modules. If I can't I guess it is off to build one. Thx Bryan

I don't think you could do it if it's HTTPS. I'm a commercial guy, so I don't have a need for controlling these, but I've messed with other devices that used RESTful and JSON over HTTPS and even
