The $190ish cameras I spoke of are the DS-2CD2032 dome and bullet models. I have one of each. The build quality isnt great, I wish it came in grey or black. Here's a nice review:

I know that there is an issue with the extron switchers at the moment that with no activity the ethernet port will disconnect or every 5 minutes you will see the port disconnect and what happens then
