CP2E connection issues

I have two CP2Es in my system with one being a master and the other being a slave.? I just upgraded my cable modem and a side effect is that my home router went from the 192.168.1 IP range to 10.0.0.? Basically this means I need to reset the IP addresses in my Crestron system.? I connected to my main CP2E via RS-232 to change the IP address without issue however with the slave one when I try to connect it cycles through the different Baud rates and then fails to connect (no device found).

Anybody know why the slave CP2E won't connect?? I went through this about a year ago and didn't have an issue connecting to the slave CP2E via RS-232.? Thank you.

Thanks?

Re: Multi-zone streaming appliance

Single zone will work but would require just adding 4 of them. Trying to keep my rack clean.

Re: Samsung CCD IP Driver

Sammy changed the port from 1515 to 1516 on 2020 models.

Re: Samsung CCD IP Driver

I just copied the pkg file to the processor and updated my program to point to that instead of the dll and it still works fine.? But still, given that it isn't working for Mark, there's no downside to trying something else; worst case is that it still doesn't work.

All of the documentation and samples I saw indicated the DriverFile signal should point to the dll file and that is actually working using version 1.13 of the Crestron Certified Drivers Display Ethernet symbol.? Dear All,

I didn't check all the topic replies. CCD use in Simpl Windows is detailed??in the Crestron True.
Hope this helps.

Re: Multi-zone streaming appliance

But isn't the Modulus a single zone device?? It sounded like Brad is looking for a single device with at least 4 zones (so 4 independent HDMI outputs) - sort of 4 AppleTVs in 1 box.? I don't believe such a device exists at this time.

Great idea Brad...
the only thing that I've seen so far is the Modulus M1?
Jury is out as to whether it will make a real go of it, and if it will be able to flush out add'l services like Disney+...

This is the result of my initial research to integrating with the MyQ openers (YMMV). Assuming all works well, it would be easy to connect to an INET-IOEX-RYIO for a quickly installed and integrated opener...Please report any other findings!! Thanks...

Re: Samsung CCD IP Driver

sorry, i can't agree that you point at the dll (this may have been an older method)
i just tried Randy's hint - i used v1.9 and just loaded the path in the driver, i did not mention the pkg file (deleted previous dll from Drivers\App1
i still get the same splus error, but the dll is now in Drivers\App1 folder
this tells me that the code found the pkg file, unpacked it & moved the dll to the proper folder
driver is loaded, but still doesn't work b/c of the splus error
i still don't know why it works for Randy

note: Power On is via WOL packet, not communication over IP connection (& it is the only thing that works for me)

Multi-zone streaming appliance

I have an AppleTV, Firestick and Roku. Basically all three do basically the same thing, streaming of Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, AppleTV+.

Is there a server appliance or equivalent that can house all my Streaming Apps in one place and have the capability to stream to lets say 4 zones simultaneously, each streaming a different App and is controllable by Crestron?

I looked at Plex but that seems to be more of a video server.? ?

Re: LG OLED 232

Michael LaFayette

We've had an absolute nightmare with LG resi OLEDs over the past month or so..? LG confirmed a bug in some of the firmware on certain displays, the display wanted a different baud rate on the 232 when off...? LG issued us a patch for displays we already had in stock or installed, and claim now that it's been resolved on all future displays, but we still see it now and again.

I would reach out to your rep, that's how we finally got in touch with someone at LG support that was able to help.

Re: Somfy SDN control via CP3

Also, can you provide the node ID, and what model of the motor?

Any time I send a command I receive back \x00 via RX

Re: Biamp Tesira Modules 3.2 - Crestron Application Market is down

Sounds like you have this covered but just as an FYI for future reference, the latest Biamp modules (and all modules we - Control Concepts - have created) are available for direct download from our website:

Re: Samsung CCD IP Driver

Mark,

You need to point the CCD symbol to the driver dll, not the pkg file.? Take a look at this post, which includes screenshots of all the symbols needed to get the driver working:

The exact details may be slightly different for your TV model, but should be very similar.

Re: End of Flash/Air?

I don't think VTPro-e ever did, I can remember that I always had to install it by hand. Before the dowoadeble installer existed I've used the one which you get when you compile a executeable XPanel.
