Little plug... We have this:

It offers direct app launching and automatically pulls in the app images too which you can do some quite nice things with.

Re: Amazon Alexa

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

They are devices that respond to ¡°switch on¡± and ¡°switch off¡± instead of ¡°open¡± or ¡°close¡±.?

For blinds/shades first check that they work by issuing a command like ¡°Switch <name of shade> on¡±.?

Then set up a routine in the Alexa app that responds to ¡°Open <name of shade>¡± and ¡°Close <name of shade¡± and performs the switch on/off task?

Does anyone know how to conrol window blinds via Alexa? I cannot get the voice commands to work at all.

I've had no real issues with my Grandstream GXV3500 to my TSW-752's but I can't for the life of me get my Lilin streams to work.

Losing URL encoding in S#

I'm trying to execute the following http command in s#

I've encoded the url within the http message as that is required by the system I'm sending the command to. However, after I execute the following

string url =? ""
HttpClient client = new HttpClient();
HttpClientRequest request = new HttpClientRequest();
HttpClientResponse response;
request.KeepAlive = false;
request.Url.Parse(url);

When I print the url to the console by executing?

CrestronConsole.Printline(request.Url.ToString());??

I get the following:

The encoding I included in the url string has been removed and the other system rejects the command.??

Any ideas on how I can get S# to leave the encoding in my url string in place, or any other solution to this problem, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help

Jay?

Re: RoKu IP Control - again!

I also use the combination of the Crestron Certified driver and the "Roku 3 Series" from the files section. I just use the files section driver for app selection. Everything else I do with the Crestron driver.

I use a combination of the CCD, which works surprisingly well for all the basic functions, with one of the "Roku 3 Series" modules from the Group's Files section. The latter is only for the direct channel commands and icons.

Re: Lutron QS

That was the ticket. I had to remove the existing license and request a new one. Once that was done everything works like it should. Weird thing is that during my troubleshooting on a different processor, if there was no license present it wouldn¡¯t even pretend to connect. On the licensed processor with poopy license it would in fact connect but not transmit any data. With the new license it connected instantly and worked flawlessly.

Sharan,

I would suggest you connect with your Sales Rep from Crestron. They can guide you through the feature sets.?

if you¡¯ve never done Fusion before I HIGHLY suggest you go through the training and possibly build your own setup before deploying for a client.?

Thanks!

Re: RoKu IP Control - again!

I've used that module for years, works with TCL tv's too.? I did need to edit the commands a bit to add TV functions like Input, ch and volume which work well on the TV's.? I use CEC for power though.

RoKu IP Control - again!

Hi All,
I'm looking into using IP to control the Roku platform, and for those who like it, here are some questions:
? 1. Which Module(s) in the files section do you recommend? Or is there another one better?

? 2. I would only use the ULTRA or the ULTRA LT (because of the ethernet connection). Any difference in capability/reliability of IP control for these??

? 3. Other than needing DHCP reservations, any other reliability or feature issues with this control??

TIA!!

Agreed! I have a Ra2 site that this has happened to me 2-3 times.? I'm currently chalking it up to the dealer not yet heeding my warning about closing all port forwards...? ?Note: if you have port forwards - delete them....

Re: Crestron NVX 352 & Dante #nvx #dante

1) 2
2) 2
3) yes
4) Dante Audio Transmit can select between: HDMI?Input (TX or RX Mode),A Audio Input (TX or RX Mode), Secondary Audio Input (RX Mode Only)
5) Dante Audio Receive can be selected as audio source for HDMI Output, HDMI Output is then automatically selected as audio source for Analog Audio Output

Re: How is Crestron Fusion different from Xio Cloud? #crestron

FUSION - is a customizable monitoring software Onprem/Cloud (think help desk options, energy management, higher education support desk Etc.)

XIO Cloud - is for static monitoring of only provided (embedded types, names, ip address,etc) items are read only.... and only provide minimal configuration types at this time for certain devices, as this is expanding all the time.?

thank you??

How is Crestron Fusion different from Xio Cloud? #crestron

Hi all,

I am pretty confused with finding out the exact difference between the Crestron fusion and the Xio cloud features, like where exactly I use the Crestron fusion services or the Xio cloud services. Could anyone you guys can through some point regarding the exact usage of the Crestron Fusion and the Xio cloud services.

Basically I have a system with around 30 conference rooms with (DM-NVX, mercury, TSW panels, soundbars, TST-902, AV3, Wireless gateways, etc) I need to find a platform to easily configure them when deploying them and then closely monitor and provide support to the clients if required.

Here for my situation which flatform would be the best solution?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you
?
