Re: Denon AVR-X3200W

Trey I apologize but I don't see a X series module. Would you be willing to specify which one you used?

Thank you,

Re: Dsc Power series and IT-100 no communication from either direction

Thank you for your reply Trey, I will try another it100 on my next visit. But I am still very curious as to why i cannot get any output on the TX signal of the power series module. Even with the module running in an otherwise empty program, i cannot make it output. Does it really wait for input from the IT100 to init?

We just had one on a job and it never connected TCP/IP client, could get to it on a web browser just fine, control through web browser just fine, just not with Crestron CP3, wired to rs232 and all worked fine, left it that way for this application, and after reading other issues here, I chalked it up to something that wouldn't get fixed anytime soon

?all our Marantz jobs have been fine with Crestron, sometimes needing a power cycle, including my own home, to stay connected

Hi,

I did a LG video wall last week and had trouble with dvi too but found it to be 70 so input switch would be xb 00 70\x0D

Re: LG Video Wall

Any luck getting the codes to work? I had to stab at codes to get a dvi input code and the tile codes aren't adding up.

I asked Crestron for the files awhile back. To stop the default ring, type SIPDEFAULTRING OFF in console. To ring your own files you'll have to drive them with either reserved or assignable joins in VT-Pro.

Hello

Can I ask how you got the ringing sound files off the TSW? Are they in a an FTP folder?

Secondly, do you know if you can change the default ringing sound files on the panel to something different?

Thanks

Does anybody have the files that are built into a TSW panel for the Rava intercom? I need to use the same ringing sounds to feed into a sound system via an MP3 player.

Re: Denon AVR4806 control via ethernet

You probably need to plug in the video cable to a TV to see the network settings. Definitely need a TCP/IP client, IP, as well as the port (probably 23). Good luck!

Do I need to set an IP address in the TC/IP client, I am sure that I do :)?? If so, does anyone know how to access the network settings inside the AVR4806?? I do not know the IP address assigned to the unit when I connected it to my router.? I am striking out all over the place.?

This is the only thing I can find on the 4806 beside the manual.? The manual looks like the network manual is only on the 58 series.

Inital Setup Menu.

Do note that these images are from a AVR 4520CI and will look slightly different but the process is the same.

Here is where you set the Network to be "Always ON"

Here is where you check for Firmware updates.

Good Luck.........

All firmware is loaded via the web interface, which, again resides under "Network" i the menu structure.

Use the Denon supplied remote control, enter "Setup"...scroll to Network or perhaps Network Settings. First, look at the "Info" section and it should reveal your current IP address and if you are actually "connected". I would urge you to set the unit up as "Static" so that you will always know where the Denon AVR lives on the network.

Next, peruse the Network area and you should see "Check for Update". Hitting the Enter button will instruct the unit to connect to Denon's Server and look for updates. If it finds Updates, you should run them. Some can take as long as 40-50 minutes but this is impacted by the network speed and if there is more than one update available. DO NOT Run an update if you have any concerns about the robustness of the LAN or if your could experience a power outage. Do note that each new iteration of Denon's receiver's will look slightly different from a programming perspective.

One further must do, make sure the IP is set to be always ON...not the Energy Saving Mode.

Feel free to contact me if you have more issues.

Thanks for the response. No matter what I do I cannot get a web menu (Denon does not offer ffirmware for this model on their website, I fell the web browser is not capable with this model). I was able to get the network menu to be active. I followed Denon's instructions but it took around six tries before I was successful.

The client now shows online.

Only if there is a way to control a non jailbroken apple tv through ethernet.
