Hi Antonio,

I've just started adding support for a couple of new pieces of Shelly hardware to the code.? Since I'm modifying the code myself right now I'll see if I can add support for tenths of degrees.? It may take a little while so if you run into problems my changes can be your fallback.

I was never able to get Yamaha AVRs to work with CH either. This is on systems that previously were working flawlessly for years via IP on full fat Crestron. Serial and IR work, but no go on IP. ?IIRC, the latest Yamaha models use a different protocol, so that may be what the modules are based on. ?I don¡¯t think you are going to have any luck with these older models.?

Crestron CH5 Demo Project

 

So i have been trying to run a demo project which i downloaded from github but been unsuccessful. I have done everything as mentioned in documentation but there is no connection between my GUI and processor. I dont see any pulse in toolbox and xPanel is reported offline in IP Table. I have attached the demo project i'am trying to run. Any suggestions as to what im missing?

You should be able to use 4/8GB SD Cards also.. I have done so in other 3 series devices and TSW-750/2 type panels with good performance. As others may have mentioned you should try to avoid the normal consumer MLC/TLC cards.. they suck for long term write endurance/speed and will likely die earlier than expected. I have been using 8GB Kingston pSLC Industrial SD cards and they haven't failed me yet.

fired up the 1st, required HW reset to wake up & boot
seemed OK
loaded a pgm - OK
power cycled - watchdog & S+ errors (each time i power cycle)

Chromecast with Google TV Control

 

Hi all,

Not sure if any of you are working with the new Chromecast with remote, but I discovered that dpad navigation and the back button from the Apple TV CEC symbol work (the Crestron certified driver only had media transport control I'm pretty sure). This might be a longshot, but has anyone been able to pass voice commands from a touch panel to a streaming device like this?

Help with error log

 

Dealing with a client that had been having regular lock ups.? Found the issues and with some guidance from TB with another I update the program.? The clients system has been stable, until today.? The logs are being overrun with the same message see following.? Any help is appreciated.? C0 and corresponding Cs are a DM 8x8 and 11 is an AMP6x100.? I don't see errors for any other devices.

I'm just guessing, but maybe this time IR probe sends the volume up command several times. I suggest to double check? Samsung Universal TV Module over Toolbox / Device Learner - right click to volume button, Button Details, Minimum Number Of Repeats should be 1.
And not a bad idea to use (M)LWP with parameter 1d right before IR module. In case of volume control I use also 'press and hold' + OSC.

Ok, then yes, I have each of the 4 input devices connected to AV2 through AV5.? Then I have the output connected to HDMI1 on the display.? Is there anything else I need to route?

Do you, by chance, have any details for the Yamaha's?? Specifically the RX-A1010 and the RX-V671.

I agree with Tim, you will need to ensure you have a proper route for CH to actually control it as well.

In the driver, execute test commands to see if communication to the receiver is successful or not before attempting to use the system.

One more note, it wont even turn the unit on or off and it doesn't allow me to control volume either.

In most receivers/avr's, I have noticed you can either enable or disable control over IP within their settings. DHCP reservation or Static IP address would be ideal to maintain successful IP control.
