Multiple mobile apps on processor
Hi, this is probably a really simple thing, but I have never had to do it before.?
I need to load different iPad GUIs onto the processor for iPads to connect to, rather than storing projects locally on the iPad(s). Default behaviour is only one mobile project in the processer memory, i.e. uploading a new file deletes the old one. Is it possible to have more than one mobile project stored on the processor (CP3) and if so then what is the process? TIA |
Re: Reliable Pool Control
I'll give Caleb a shout out as well.? Their module is tip top.? We have run across a few issues on installs and I have reached out to him and he has been on top of it support wise and resolved any issues extremely fast.
In an overall sense, both the Jandy and Pentair have their advantages and drawbacks.? I will say that I prefer the Pentair systems on installs from an automation standpoint because the Jandy system will only allow you to select one system at a time, thus only being able to display the temperatures from one system.? We have many many installs that use multiple Jandy controllers and not being able to display all the temperatures on the fly from a splash page or something is kind of annoying.? Jandy does have a better system for color controls, but that is a more physical setup. Lastly is the Omnilogic.? Kind of a pain to setup and get working but it works very well when you do get it up.? Same issues as the Jandy though since it is cloud based, but it does give you a bit more flexibility.? We dont see these too often though from the pool contractors. -- Ryan Baldwin CEO | XS Design Studios rbaldwin@... 760.712.2240 |
Re: Reliable Pool Control
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWhat Drivers have you used with not good results? ? I¡¯d like to think that our Pentair IntelliCenter for SIMPL, IntelliCenter for Crestron Home, IntelliTouch, Jandy RS, and Goldline drivers all work well. Have you used any of ours? Our IntelliCenter Driver is pretty solid and is Pentair¡¯s newest platform. We also offer Telephone and Email support so if you ever run into an issue, we are happy to take a look and if we need to update, we push out an update. ? Caleb ? Caleb Radecky |

Re: TSR-310 integration with Applehomekit
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý? Double check the documentation.? There are a few documents to follow.? The items that get paired via the Apple Home App are the Crestron processor, and the Apple TV¡¯s.? The remotes get recognized via the SIMPL program and its association with the processor.?? They are not not exactly paired in the most traditional manner. ? [Edited Message Follows] I have been trying to integrate TSR-310 with apple homekit using the documentation provided by Crestron. I have been able to get "ready" status on my remote but while pairing the device on apple home app on my iPad it just keeps on loading forever, when i click on add accessory. Thanks in advance. |
Re: In Today's Episode of "Shouldn't that behavior be different...?"
I also use the colour coded signals & have not really noticed much of a performance hit. I have had instances where connected signals still stay highlighted in colour. Usually simply selecting the signal is enough to correct it. Re-opening the file also clears down the colours. Like you Lincoln never annoying enough to pursue any further.

Re: In Today's Episode of "Shouldn't that behavior be different...?"
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI¡¯ve seen this happen with modules ¨C a signal on an input to (generally bad) or output from (meh) a module may have another driving? source (generally bad) or destination (meh) inside the module ¨C if it does and you put a signal name on the cue in SIMPL but don¡¯t connect it to anything it won¡¯t generate a warning/notice because of the way the compiler inlines modules ¨C the ¡°does this signal go anywhere?¡± check happens, I¡¯m assuming, post-inlining and thus since the signal does go somewhere no warnings. ? I haven¡¯t seen a native logic symbol? do that, however. ? I can¡¯t say I¡¯ve noticed any performance problems using signal completion colors ¨C I have seen some behaviors I¡¯d describe as odd when copying and pasting/F9-ing signals under certain less common circumstances but its infrequent enough and mostly self-righting so that it¡¯s not worth trying to report it through normal channels, and not annoying enough to pester back channels. ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? I have actually seen this type of behavior from time to time. I stumble across signals that have no destination/driving yet the program compiles with 0 warnings/errors. Makes me wonder sometimes what else isnt getting picked up? I dont use the signal completion color feature as it seems to slow things down (even more than it alreday is) for me.? |
Re: In Today's Episode of "Shouldn't that behavior be different...?"
One I see regularly is copy/paste say for instance a bunch of digitals to an SRL and Simpl will throw up an error stating could not complete due to incompatible signal types.
I've actually had this where I've copied the outputs from a buffer to an SRL and had this error. Also happens on other stuff, not just SRL's. -s |
Re: In Today's Episode of "Shouldn't that behavior be different...?"
Ditto on seeing this type of behavior from time to time too.? More it is where the signals show up red or green as if they go no where.? Yet if I highlight one of them and hit F2, you can clearly see that they are going some place.? Usually happens after I modify something in the program.? I don't believe it has ever happened when I open a program.

Use the dimmer module, send the analog value to 0% for off and 100% for on.?

Re: Somfy URTSI II
I Think The Problem You Are Having Is Like What Someone as Said Below. The RTS Shade Motor Is Kind Of Like A Garage Opener it can Learn Multiple Shades Controls In It Weather It Be A Handheld Remote or? A Urtsii. The Easiest Thing Might Be To Reset The Motor To Defaults And Re-Learn The Hand Control First Then Re-Learn The Urtsii At The Correct Address. Maybe This Will Help.

Wait till you see the weird behavior with Smart Graphics now when it creates folders for media players then errors you out even if you delete the folders.? Then they magically re-appear!? Yay!
