Question for freelancers
Hello guys, I'm a freelance programmer for over a year now. How do you deal with a client who keeps sending the mock-up touchpanel sign-off document everytime with new changes?
Also how do you go

Ha! Thanks Chris ;-)
SIMPLified 2 is a SIMPL programmer¡¯s assistant and (some free, some depending on which annual entitlements you buy) provides things like:

Re: SIMPL Windows Programming Question (Serial Signals)
Yep... exactly as Brendon said. It sounds a bit convoluted, but once you see it in a folder structure, it's not bad at all. Also, make sure you have the source names tied to an MSP (or a touch panel)

Re: Crestron Certified Drivers- Best Practices?
While that sounds good "in theory", it might not actually be that simple.
The "User Attributes" and other signals are often different, and their values might need to be changed if the referenced dll

Any idea what this refers to?
This was 'out of the blue' on a working system. No complaint from the client. Obviously it appears to be an issue with IR commands.
Any idea how to trouble-shoot this (if at all)?? Or what it means?

You have to have the same number of modules defined in the SIMPL program.? But they'd be defined as a Display.? So you'd program everything up and then load the LG certified driver onto the

A) Am I missing something? Don't you have to have the same number of CCD modules as you would for traditional modules?
B) Your second point eliminated any real value for CCD, for me...? Not to

Others may (hopefully) chime in on this.
My experience with DMP in the past is that they don't provide a way to (properly) do keypad emulation, which is a deal-breaker for me.
Also, even just getting
