I work for a few dealers that are using amps from AudioControl and Autonomic, which seem to be readily available.

However, I only work with custom-programmed systems, and don't know if there's a Crestron Home driver available for those amps.

Correct, If that limitation would be an issue then that's where you'd have to separate them out into numerous analogs which is still quite trivial.

That sounds a good amount of time. Presumably you have the right admin credentials. It¡¯s possible for the NVX to block the processors IP which won¡¯t help at all :/

How long are you leaving it after adding?
The NVX unit will reboot after adding and this can take a few minutes to fully come back online

Strange problem adding DM NVX devices with 7.0.x firmware to Crestrron Home 3.12

 

I recently upgraded the DM NVX devices to V7.0.x (Latest firmware).? ?I went to add another DM NVX 351C configured as an Encoder.? ?I am using Crestron Home 3.12 at this location.? ?The NVX successfully adds and immediately reports as offline.? I do a repair, says the repair was successful and then again immediately reports as off line.? ?I took a spare NVX 350C and it did the same thing.? ?It seems there may be a bug with adding DM NVX devices with 7.0.x firmware.? ?Has anyone else seen this issue?

I have no problems power wise with my aes... ?and 3 rooms and in-wall resistor based volume controls, so you should be fine!

Sorry but does ganging the pairs mean putting both pairs of speaker wires in the same terminal in the AAE?? So essentially having two wires (from different speakers) in the plus and two wires in the minus?? Thanks!

Splitter to me in this case is so over-thinking, can gang the pairs together and be fine...... If you NEEDED to could mode the code in such a way that the vars from 1 zone feed the the other... aka the grouping functions

I'm hoping somebody can help me out with what the best thing to do here is.? I self support my old legacy Crestron system.? We are redoing my backyard and adding a big patio.? A time formatted analog take care of all of this for you ¨C you just provide the number of seconds (or minutes if you want it that way instead) and it¡¯s rendered for you ¨C 1d = 1 second so times up to a bit over 18 hours can be shown with 1 second resolution

what about when you want to have HH:MM:SS? you need to zero the seconds once you hit 60 sec, and start incrementing the minutes, etc.

In regards to multiple processors :
I¡¯ve used this to in a few places. ?Example there is a building wide lighting system and rather than have eisc¡¯s to interconnect the lighting with the AV, I just had the panels connect to both systems. ?You just need to manage the join numbers between them. ?Both systems will respond to the same join, so I¡¯ve done 1-1000 for av and 1001+ For lighting.? ?

If you use this Make sure you have the page logic at the panel. ?That way if one of the two systems is offline the other one still works. ?

This has been disabled by default on latest Crestron Home firmware, from the release notes:

By default, on upgrading, the port used by pyng Smart Objects, CEN-TRACK, TSW-x52, and Triggers and Listen modules are disabled. If you want to turn that port back on, you can change this setting under ¡°System Detail & Password Configuration¡±.?
