Really? Even the tpmc-4smd? I will have to research this.

Re: TPMC-10 do not boot, no Setup access

I try something but no Results:

I dont use an akku - because he was dead
I dieassembled the TPMC and there is no Drive inside.
I put the oldest an newest firmware as zip, csz and the content extractet from the csz on a Stick and boot with it. (stick flashes shortly but no result)
I boot with holding the "4" button (viewsonic calls it "Dashboard") the the USB Disaster Recovery Mode Apears - Win 7 find a
"ViewSonic airpanel v110 smart display" and Win XP a "airpanel v210c wireless smart display" Win 7 dont need a driver - but the windows mobile device center find nothing - the Win XP has no drivers - and i find non in the web too.

I search tonight for an pcmcia cf adapter and try that tomorrow. I hope anyone of you has an idea to reaktive this touchpanel.

Re: AV2 rebooting continously after program upload

What is your dsp in this system? On the av2 I had issues with, the program was using BSS audio modules. The newest modules off of the BSS site would lock that av2 everytime. Reverted to some older modules and no more problems. I could load that same program that would lock the av2 and it would run fine on MPC-M10. I still would like to know why the av2 would lock though. The program was really small too: 80 symbols, 314 digital, 24 analog, 25 serial, so I know it wasn't out of memory.

Some of the features were nice, but I REALLY disliked not being able to

It was also VERY SLOW to startup. I don't know if that was because we were

Don't switch them to cresnet. We saw lots of performance issues with
gateways and cresnet. Invest in a UPS so it doesn't loose power lol.

Re: mlx-3

Don't know if this could help: we had PoE problems by using an manageable PoE Switch to power up TSW-750. From time to time, we lost connection between AV3 and some TSW-750, even if they was powered up. Then, we couldn't ping the faulty TSW-750. The Switch had enough PoE power, but for some reason it locks up. By power cycling the switch, we sometimes gain control, so we finaly change the manageable PoE Switch for an umanageable PoE one (the Crestron CEN-SW-POE-5) and didn't heard about it :-). We think our problems are related with the 'manageable' and we try to manage without success :-(.

1. initialize the processor

4. reload of the program.

The Internal memory of processor is about 2432 KB. My program size for zip
file is 1,016 KB and .spz is about 75 KB.

Total Signal names in my program are just shy of 1K. I don't believe that
my program is too big for it to actually handle and in residential,
programs are way bigger.

I tried the same program on a different AV2 without any hiccup. It has the
same firmware and same memory size.

Any other ideas perhaps?

I am sorry if this thread is getting dragged along too far.

table VESA stand for V24 panel

Hi!

I am delivering a V24 panel to one of our customers. This panel came without a VESA stand, Crestron doesn't have any stand for this product.

This product should be delivered with a stand, or at least there should be listed a recommended stand.

Do anyone out there know about a sturdy VESA stand for this heavy V24 panel? I tried to mount it on a normal LCD screen stand but this wasnt sturdy enough.

Thanks for any answers

Fusion EM real time

Hello,

I've been working with crestron now for 4 weeks non stop.
Our project is almost finished except for one thing.

We have 5 different energy measuring devices. We retrieve the data through a simpl module and we want to write the data to fusion.
This works for 3/5. In Fusion EM we have 1 room and 4 nodes. The problem is that only the room and the following 2 nodes go online. So we don't have the real time energy tracker info. Only the historical energy usage. We don't have a license but it has to work up to 5.

All the nodes are configured the same, I've used the symbol discovery tool to add the nodes ( Fusion EM sees 1 room and 4 nodes!).

Where did we go wrong?

Thanks in advance

Re: Add Fonts to Core3 Project?

Eric Williams

True, it needs to release software. But... Learn it, and then tell me it sucks. After you build a custom media player, or a fully scalable keypad / dpad, tell me it still sucks. Oh yeah, how about create one button style in one size that you can infinitely scale. Old way, gigs of graphics. New way, packed down theme that a fully loaded panel can use containing maybe 100 png files. It is and will be more efficient if you take the time to learn it (assuming the tsw platform ever works rite).

You guys do know that learning core 3 would be alot easier if everyone stopped complaining so much, maybe help contribute a few ideas.... Just saying

You know what would be FANTASTIC? If crestron actually delivered a fully baked product that works like some actual thought went into it. You know how you've been designing panels in VT-Pro for the last 10+ years? Yeah, go ahead and throw all that hard work out the window. It's great because we've made it really simple this time we promise! So simple in fact you can't even change the font size, nevermind the actual font! Oh and you can go straight to hell if you've got non Core 3 and Core 3 only panels on the same project. Your customers (our end users) won't be able to tell up from down when they get done learning two completely different interfaces, nevermind the extra time and development costs of developing and maintaining two completely different platforms to you the programmers/dealers.

I'm beginning to think that angry midgets with ADD are developing Crestron software.

--- In Crestron@..., "j.mussetter" <jasonmussetter@...> wrote:

I think it's completely BS that you have to install an enormous several hundred meg program (that barely works) and another several hundred meg SQL server, and then use a beta add-on "just" to edit colors, graphics, or fonts in Core3. Why hasn't Crestron created either a stand-alone Theme Editor program or incorporated this into VTPro by now?

Anyone who claims that Core3 is production worthy, I would strongly disagree with them based on this alone. It is completely unacceptable to have to use beta software (ie: only on Labs) to make design changes to a production worthy technology. If you can't download a theme editor from their normal software server, then it isn't production worthy... conversely, if you can't change fonts, or colors on Core3 using production software, then Core3 isn't production software either. How long has Core3 been "released" now and the full set of tools that we need are still not in release status?

Sorry for the rant, but I'm getting sick of hearing "just install almost a Gig of bloatware plus some beta software so you can change the font from arial to <new font>". It's frustrating at this point, and nothing has changed in over a year.

TPS-6X Screen Change

Morning all,

Is it possible to swap out the touch screen on a TPS-6X?

I did exactly this on a STX-1550C a few years back for a client without touch panel files who had broken the touch screen (bought one on eBay and swapped it out) and I am now facing a similar situation but the client has a TPS-6X instead.
