Wifi Recommendation
Can someone recommend WAPs / controllers for a 4-WAP system, specifically some that will hand off connections between WAPs without hiccuping iPads? I'd like to work with something that I can set up

Shared Resource Limitations
Hi folks, I'm talking with a client who is designing a multi-room system with a 32x32 DM, a few 3 series procs and about 20 TSW panels. He's experienced in AV (read: been burned before) and is

Re: Creating Epson serial module for Powerlite G5450
I have now disabled all polling with the exception of PWR?\x0D when the projector is powered off. I am not receiving any ERR responses now. Is there a buffer or something in the projector that

Re: PTL4 to TPS4L
A PTL has deep-seated feeling of Prodigy-ness (a jumper, a resistor with a different value, or something). A quick diff of the TPS firmware blob vs. the PTL's shows... nothing. They use exactly the

Re: PTL4 to TPS4L
You are correct. I had only tested it with a 2-series (4.003.0015) since I simply loaded an existing program. I saved the program as a 3 series and tried having the PTL-4 talk to it and no dice, both

Re: Crappy protocols
I suppose that is a good way to look at it. I'm just too crabby to adopt that view myself! :-)

Re: Posted fix for sluggish TSWs
Yep, kind of - we were given different commands to fix CPU throttling a couple weeks ago. It helped get the media player back to almost usable, and improved scrolling in general. Transitions were bad

Posted fix for sluggish TSWs
Just posted yesterday: http://support.crestron.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5368 Anybody tried this yet? I don't have any TSWs installed, but I'm curious to see if this clears up any of the reported

Re: Fusion RoomView DeviceUsage Serial Attribute
Apparently I didn't follow the rabbit hole deep enough. The required format is actually: STRING sDate[10], sTime[8]; sDate = date(3); // 2013/05/02 sDate = left(sDate, 4) + "-" + mid(sDate, 6, 2) +

Thanks Everyone... The site is out of state so we're making arrangements to fly in to go on-site. In the meantime the system is being controlled via 232.

Re: Control Loss After Cisco Firmware Upgrade
If you are controlling it via LAN I have seen the Telnet setting get changed after a firmware upgrade. Check the retentive setting for the control type you are using. Lots of them to go through :) If
