I've never been impressed with any Sony control but use the Crestron Connected module with VPL series and not had any long term issues.

Don't think you need to add it. Just add your rmc's under the Ethernet and then set your ip table on the rmc's. The DA just needs to be on the same vlan as your controller. Thanks, Ephrain
