I believe the internal relays are rated for 30V. Speakers signal can exceed that. Not sure what would happen, given the transient nature of the signal. You would of course use up four of them vs just one for external and it will be messier than using a DPDT relay external (looping the inputs through those tiny terminals). It is always safest to have a level of separation between things. I recall taking over a job with a PRO2 that had many fried relays. There was a motorized door panel that had a 48V trigger on an external relay. I'm assuming that the previous guy had tried various internal relays and had relay failures. I think they were stuck closed.

With my IPTs using hostnames, if I boot up the TSW before I have it connected to the control subnet on a CP3N, the TSW doesn't get feedback and the IPT on the TSW is offline, but the IPT on the processor says online.(even after refreshing multiple times)

If everything is connected before powering on the TSW, it all works.

Using IP addresses, both scenarios work fine and I always get FB.

Maybe you guys are seeing this too, who knows. Or maybe its some sort of protocol I'm not privy too.

I'm not sure why you were having trouble connecting. That's something I haven't experienced with any unusual frequency. From afar, it's impossible to tell if the panels are working correctly or not. One of my techs ran into this exact problem on a jobsite yesterday. We have 5 TSW-750 on the jobsite, and 3 of them had "lost feedback". All 3 were running 1.6.15, and the two that didn't lose feedback were still running 1.5.5. Coincidence? Probably not.

When I tried connecting to them remotely, I couldn't connect to one of the affected panels, but I could connect to the other two to force a reboot. My tech on-site had to manually reboot the third.
