Re: Roku 3 module posting

It works regardless of the model you use. As long as you use a N1000 or later.

IT has its own IP since it has wifi. Ill try it out when I get a chance and report back. currently my roku stick us connected to my Oppo 103, but I could move it to my onkyo 818 and try it there.

But, it needs it's own IP address to send commands to, so probably not now that I think about it for a moment.

any idea if it works with the roku stick?

I'll be uploading a module for the Roku 3 (and maybe others, don't know), that queries subscribed services and spits them out to a string array. Selecting the corresponding input array will launch the selected app. Also the standard key presses (I haven't incorporated holds yet, but maybe someday, no use personally).

Feel free to edit the module as you see fit, I have a reserved copy that includes dialog pages with scripting from another developer so I cannot release that to the wild. But, I'm sure you guys can easily adapt the logic for that if you so desire.

If you do change it, I would appreciate a copy, just 'cause I like to see other peoples work to learn from. :-)
