So far that's the most disappointing thing I've noticed with the MLX-
2. Any source that needs the "color" buttons is probably going to
need the alternate functions of guide/info/fav/list as well. What do
you program them for? If you do the text labels, the customer will be
confused if the source asks for the colors. If you do the colors, the
customer will be confused by the text. Given the hardware is what it
is, it would be better if Crestron drops the text next to those
buttons.

DirecTV is still in business?

The fact that I CANNOT program those buttons to only do GUIDE,

FAV,

my book is a failure. Sure this principle works if your client is
using
something like Comcast and a Blu-Ray then the buttons can do
different
things for different sources, but in the case of DirecTV which is
the 800
pound Gorilla of sources for all of us as it is probably the most
common and
the most consistent, we are all f'd. JMO...not too humble at that
today
either.

To all;
?
I posed the question to TB and here is the response regarding
the
buttons
(red,green,yellow,blue)?on the MLX-2
?
Those buttons are for GUIDE, LIST, FAV, and INFO. While
programming the
MLX-2 you can specify those buttons to be Project-Level.?Meaning
that while
in VTPRO-e you can assign different digital press joins to that
button and
thus having mutil-functional button depending on what page you
are
on.
