I made some phone calls:? One to Payson and two to Aniston.? Rick at Aniston I got to speak to the first time but not the second time.? He might call me back Tuesday.? Payson is too busy to post any more info at the time to A-C, including a few lathe pictures he took.

The Aniston website gives no clue Aniston may be changing hands, or going out of business, or all accounts going to another engraving company.
According to Aniston, everything goes to a scrap dealer this WEDNESDAY.? I wanted to ask Aniston about the Bridgeport and the lathe but that was on the second call.? Both calls were short, esp. to Payson.? Aniston has at least one rotary table for sale.? And other stuff.
My impression is maybe best to show up, don't call.? Even showing up might not let you see anything.? I hope it would not happen that way, but I wouldn't be shocked.

A machine engraving company next door is liquidating, but time is short. i just went over to visit and the scrap man is coming this week. It's in Woburn MA. This is weird I thought i had got rid of the bemuda triangle effect that defies physics etc that seems to follow me around.? Went out to the garage yesterday to have another go at this issue to see if there was any adjustment in the frame took the frame off gave it a talking to (turned the air blue) put it back on and the bloody backgear shaft now clears the belt so god knows what the issue was.

The back gear shaft moves a small amount toward the belt but never close enough to touch when engaged.

It sounds like something isn't set up correctly. The belt should not be that close to the back gear shaft. Here are a couple quick pics of mine.

The issue i am having is if i have the backshaft in front, behind or through the belt the belt rubs on the shaft either when the back gears are engaged or when they aren't.? Ill try post some pics of the issue later on depending when i get home.
