(Rabbit)
Rabbit blinked in surprise when Roue reached up and touched his face, running his hand along Rabbit's cheek and then through his hair. The elf's hand was deliciously warm on his face and the little vampire closed his eyes, savoring it for the few seconds it lasted, then opened them again in disappointment when Roue took his hand away to stretch himself and yawn. He waited quietly while the elf got dressed, trying not to stare at Roue's near-nakedness but not exactly looking away either.? It was all Rabbit could do to keep his hands to himself as Roue pulled on clothes, covering up his enticingly smooth sculpted body that Rabbit longed to touch.
The elf mumbled something in the incomprehensible language he spoke, but between his stomach rumbling and his subsequent gestures, it was clear that Roue was hungry but wanted to wash up first.
"Uhm, sure. You can do that right h-here."? Rabbit crossed the room and opened a door that led to a small bathroom.? It was nowhere as luxurious as the Roman bath he'd taken Roue to earlier, but it was adequate for basic cleaning and necessities. ?
"I was thinking you m-might wanna go, you know, out for dinner," Rabbit said when the elf was finished washing.? "I mean, we have a pretty good kitchen here and we can make a lot of stuff, but you're not a m-member. At least, uhm, not yet." He hesitated, trying to think of some way to mime what he was saying, but gave up and just plunged ahead.? "I was able to get you some, uhm, cr-credit though, usin' those coins you let me borrow.? Seems like they might be, you know, v-valuable.? Anyways, it means you don' have to worry about anythin' for now.? Okay?"
Rabbit waited to see if anything he said would get a reaction, then just hoped that the tone of his voice would be reassuring in some way.? "Anyways, I know a place you might like.? Just follow me, okay?"
He led the elf back through the main room, which was less crowded for the moment, to one of the club's side doors that members often used to either go back to where they came from or get to their next destination.? He looked back to Roue, then took the door's elaborate brass handle in his fingers.? The little vampire closed his eyes, visualized where he wanted to go, and then turned the handle and pulled. ?
The door opened to barrage of strange noises and bright lights and Rabbit gestured for Roue to hurry through.? When both of them were on the other side, he quickly closed the door again.? From this side, the door was plain and weathered, to the point that it was barely visible against the alley wall in which it lay. ?
"Come on!" Rabbit shouted to make himself heard over the noise.? He hesitated, then took Roue's hand firmly in his, not wanting to take a chance on the elf getting lost.? "This place is called the G-Ginza district," he said as he led Roue through a massive crowd of people, all of whom seemed to be going somewhere with purpose and all of whom were dressed in a confusing array of fashions, all of which were designed to catch the eye.? "It's in Japan. In T-Tokyo.? It's pretty, uhm, f-famous. You can get _anythin'_ here!"? The little vampire grinned impishly as he glanced back at Roue.? "Even m-me, if'n I'm in the mood."

Once Rabbit showed him the washroom, Roue got up off the bed and walked into the small room, twisting the cold metal handles.? It made him hesitate for a moment as he thought back to how the other man's face felt a little cold.? Now why would that be, did he just walk through an ice box?? It didn't quite compute so as the water warmed up, he dipped his hands under the stream and splashed it on his face.? Doing that a couple of times, he then rubbed his face and finally gargled a bit, rinsing out his mouth.? Once he was done, he turned the handles back and then grabbed a towel to dry himself off.? The elf then stepped back into the room as Rabbit kept saying something but again it was all just garbled nonsense.? Now that he was regaining his strength, he had to find some way of being able to communicate.? Gesturing was rudimentary at best, though at least it was working.? Otherwise they'd both up the creek with no paddles.
"<Okay, let's go eat,>" Roue echoed once the other man gestured for him to follow.? Slipping his boots on, he grabbed his money pouch underneath the pillow and tied it to the belt around his waist, then dropped it on the inside so that it stayed hidden.? Once he was done and ready to go, Rabbit led him out of the room and down the stairs back to the main hallway.? The dancing floor seemed to have mostly emptied out since the last time he was out, the wizard noted, though there were still some people who was mingling around, basking in the atmosphere.? He paused for a moment as he noted that some of them held shining tablets of some sort, all seemingly lit up from within, all of various sizes and that its owners kept tapping at its surface, laughing and having conversation.? It felt odd but he didn't have time to question it, even if he could, because he noticed Rabbit looking back at him so he broke out of his trance and ran to catch to him.? They stopped at a large, ornate door with a shiny brass handle.? The wizard wondered if that was an entrance to the dining hall, but when Rabbit stopped and took a short respite, the wizard suddenly felt disturbance in the air.? It was akin to a stone being cast into a still pond, causing a short splash followed by receding waves.? Before he even knew what happened, Rabbit grabbed Roue and pulled him through, quickly shutting the door.
Immediately, the elf was assaulted by a myriad of lights, sounds and smells all at once.? All of his senses were forced to take in and contend with multiple offending sources.? The super bright and flashing lights, the glare of which was adding to the effect, seemed to blind him so he raised his arm to try and block some of it.? His sensitive ears were violated by an amalgamation of sounds, a chimeran mix of various types of musics all mixing together, booming and playing at the same time.? Coupled with the smells of which there were even more than he thought he could handle at once invaded his nose like an infinite, untouchable army.? It threatened to overwhelm him until he felt a cool-like hand tightly grip his and pull him forward.? Before he even knew what was happening, Roue was on his feet and running, stumbling at times as he tried to keep up.? As his eyes slowly adjusted, he saw that it was Rabbit and in fear of being separated from him in this chaos, gripped his hand even tighter.? This was place was strange and disturbing, new and unknown, but there was no time to even look around because had he tried to turn his head, he would've surely stumbled and fell behind so he didn't and kept his focus on no one else but his companion.? So he just kept running, hoping there was an end to this chaos.
