Re: USB OK, LSB narrow/pinched TX audio
OK The SSB part and FM Path are completely different, There are two PLL’s for upper and low side band, I suspect you LSB PLL is off frequency or out of lock, they both go off to the Balanced modulator: ? The technical supplement will tell you how to check it ? 73 ? Andrew ?

No problem, remember its for the PSTRotator software but should at least give some bidirectional activity and eliminate cable ot software issues.

Greetings All While I am trying to get my 847 setup for digital operations such as FT8, I have come across a CAT control problem. My rig is from 1990, serial 0M45xxxx so it shouldn't have any difficulties. I tried a CPU reset with no change. I can get the FT847UNI drivers working in JTDX, but not the Bi-Directional driver. While this might be the bare minimum necessary for digital operation, I would like to get the OmniRig drivers working so that I can get my logging program (Log4OMv2) working alongside another app to follow the freq. I know there is a HamLib option in Log4OM, but I can't get that to work (it is native in JTDX) so I am wondering...
Is there anyone who has their 847 working with bi-directional CAT control? If so, what cables are you using with what software?

Re: FT-847 CAT Control Problem
Run this zip. Then copy the Folder with the .ini files in it to the OmniRig folder and then select the PST version of FT847.... eg: FT847 or FT847PST. This version was modded for better Bi-Directional comms with PSTRotator as the display failed to change with the standard version.
Please let me know if it helps.
