Re: FT-847 IN TX ALL TIMES

Re: FT-847 IN TX ALL TIMES
Quite agree this would be an improvement. I used a 4N25 optocoupler on my
FT-100 interface (that has a slightly different configuration) and still

Re: FT-847 IN TX ALL TIMES
This is what have been using for the last 25 years with the FT-847 with
various data modes in both SSB & FM including FT-8

Re: FT-847 IN TX ALL TIMES
I've used my FT-847 on both 6 and 2M, no problem. Just used the sample
interface circuit in the manual.

Re: FT-847 IN TX ALL TIMES
Check to insure the MOX button is not pushed in. The MOX button is right
under the power switch, easy to push by mistake.

You didn't by any chance bump the MOX switch on the front?

Re: ftm100 PA
1)? At a bare minimum you need a hot air rework station.
2)? Better is a hot air rework station and a PCB preheater.
3)? Best is what I use which is a automated computer controlled rework station
