Single VFO MG mode.No alpha tags.

To view tag you need to be in single vfo mem mode by using the main n sub buttons to select single vfo hold one of them in for a few seconds. Also check when in v/m memory mode menu “Basic setup

I guess I just got busy and it went into storage.I know it worked previously.I am thinking it is how I am calling up the memory station but have not resolved it

Easiest test for the speaker would be to use the VX-7 to listen to the FM broadcast band (88 to 108 Mhz). The FM broadcast band uses a different filter than narrow band Ham FM.

*Hi Gordon, If it works OK on wide FM (88 to 108 Mhz) it is likely the filter sold as eBay item* 171828786666. The Kenwood TS-2000 has a similar problem with the original filters failing.

I have my dad's vx7r ( now sk ) that sounds off frequency... its 144 deviation is set to 110. Iv tried turning it down to 90 but it seems that after a power back on the value is still on 110. V/M
