Re: Screen protector?
I have a similar pouch on my NavCom vest. Mine works best when I remove the clip from the back of the FT-60r.

Re: Screen protector?
Hello
From what I am reading I am thinking that the screen broke due to something that a phone screen protector would not add much protection. I may be wrong and if I am sorry but I think what you

Re: Pl-259 connector wit thin centre pin?
Thank you all for comments and suggestions.
Kevin and Chuck were right: It was an old PL-259 center pin casing from another antenna that stayed in the radio. Your comments pointed me in the right

Re: Pl-259 connector wit thin centre pin?
The so-239 is a standard specification. The best advice is to first ascertain whether a different? pl-259 (male) connector will fit or not. Many times the solder job at the tip of the pl-259

Re: Pl-259 connector wit thin centre pin?
I suspect the "USA Version" is not the connector itself but rather it indicates the US

Re: Pl-259 connector wit thin centre pin?
Before boring. drilling or reducing pin size find another PL-259 and verify it will not fit in the SO-239
connector. I have worked with SO-239's and PL-259's for nearly 60 years and the only time they
