This is my typical Chirp workflow:
- Read current settings from rig (requires setting COM port, make, model).
- Archive "before" config for later use.
- Make necessary changes to config.
- Archive "after" config for later use.
- Write updated settings to rig (Chirp already knows rig, options to select make, model disabled).
If you create a new tab from scratch, without first reading from the rig, you'll need to select the make, model before saving it.
