Hi When. I upgraded to win10, I could not use CHIRP anymore.?
I had the error you describe and others not recognizing port. I tried different cords. Nope. Some folks said I needed to go back to older drivers and others said I had to get newest drivers.
Thinking I will next try a new computer that started with win10 and was not an upgraded one.?
If I get it to work I will post the solution.

It read the data from the radio accurately and without incident. However, when I attempted to write the data back out to the radio, the dialog comes up with the vendor and model edit boxes disabled. Any suggestions or ideas?
