Dummy when it comes to all this.
I have that radio and that happened
to me twice. Both times was caused
by inadvertenly pushing a button
while the lock function was not on.
Once I had pushed the vm which
changed to vfo. Another time I pushed?
the 0 which changed my mode.?

Does the display blank out when you hit the PTT? ?If so, your battery needs charging. When you turn on the radio, it should display around 8.4 volts. Do NOT have it on any chargers when you do this.

Hoping for advice. I can program the radio for repeaters, and yes set the tone as needed. I hear everyone else just fine. But when I push PTT, I get the 3-tone startup sound and no one hears me. All they get is dead air.?
There's no WiRES icon visible.?
I refer to Page 64 a lot - where the factory reset instructions are. I reset and reprogrammed 2 repeaters again today, and still nothing.
Suggestions?
