When I'm in memory mode and want to see the frequency behind the label
I've assigned, I just tap the "Band" button (which puts the radio in
"Tune" mode). Tap "Band" again to exit "Tune", and go back to viewing
the label.


Does that do what you're trying to accomplish?

squelch opens and at the same time the memory name changes to the
frequency of that memory. So if you have a stored memory with an
Alphanumeric name but you don't remember the frequency of it you can see
it instantly with a momentary press on the Moni button.


Is there a way to do this on a FT-60 ?

I had a look at the manual and tried various key combinations of buttons
but couldn't find something.
