开云体育Patrick, It has always been my understanding that it is illegal to reveal what you monitor to a third party.? But are you telling me, that if I was an experimenter, and I built a homebrew radio that received cellular transmissions it is illegal!?? I believe you, because I just read a portion of the Electronics Communications Privacy Act. ? But I wonder what would have happen when I was 6 years old and my dad said, “Fred, how would you like to build a crystal radio”?, and …..? So I guess if I don’t that with my kids I better be very careful.? I mean, if I wind the wrong number of turns on that toilet paper form, they may be visiting me upstate.? It certainly sounds like something is wrong with that scenario. ? Is it any wonder why this hobby is dying? ? 73 de KE2QR ? Fred Jacobowitz _._.? _ _ ._???? _..? .??? _._? .? .._ _ _?? _ _._?? ._. It is in violation of the Federal wireless privacy act to intercept (receive) any cellular transmissions analog or digital signals, period. It is also against the law to manufacturer equipment that is "easily modified" to do this as well. Another FCC rule says it is illegal to reveal what you monitor on your radios to a third party.
