Also depends on the power supply you are using - if you are having issues might be worth putting a more powerful separate power supply into DR4018 rather than using DCC Bus Iain Morrison 07767

Hi Colin, I don't know about your other questions, but BDL168 does not support Railcom (BDL168 supports transponding which is different). If you want Railcom you will need Digikeijs

I have other locos with lower and higher addresses that work fine, I was wondering if 108 is blocked or if there’s a problem specific to either early bachmann chips or ESU lokpilots with that
