Locked YD4901 Availability
I realise that this is not a technical issue, I have had a paid pre-order for a YD4901 since August and still no sign of delivery. I live in Ireland, Brexit has made it more difficult to source from

Re: DR5013 slow response
Hi, I had a couple of private emails asking how this issue was resolved.? The 5013 was probably faulty so I replaced it with a LODI KSM as recommended above.? Works fine now.? I had to switch off

Re: Downgrade Procedure
The club has 3 DR5000 already converted to YD7001's. They need to downgrade a YD7001 back to a DR5000. The club needs 14 wireless throttles and the DR5000 was handling this job in the past. Is it

Downgrade Procedure
I would like to downgrade my YD7001 back to a DR5000. Is this as simple as reversing the module swap or do I need to do something else? - Bob Gamble

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I did find that sometimes I could acquire a locomotive with the DR5000 (though sometimes there was a long wait). Now with the upgrade chip, I have never been able to acquire one. Scott Walton

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
So I am clear, the LocoNet B network is the Booster network, correct?? So it DOES have railsync, right? I ask because I have the UR93 (only) but have observed this same problem with my DR5000 (not

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
Yes a small relay would work, I use reed relays, they take little current. Put a reverse connected diode across the coil to protect the output from voltage spikes. Mike

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I tried a UR93 on the LocoNet B network and it didn't wokr there. I also tried a UR92 there and got only red/green flashing lights. Scott Walton

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
Thanks Mike and Ian for your inputs. I thought this.would be a quick and simple solution to make crossing lights work in conjunction with a Green signal. I am using iTrain to control the layout and

Re: S88N connected modules, should the status lights flash
Thank you so much for the detailed answer. There are not any inputs on any of the sensor units yet, so this makes sense. thanks -- Heath @ Human[c]ity http://www.humancity.org (

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
If you use a meter with peak or max recording that would show the current used or an analogue meter may show the peak. I mounted one on top of a building and noticed when it flashed other LEDs on the

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
I can't answer your actual question but you can configure individual outputs on a DR4018 to flash an LED directly. Check the description of CV113 (and CV112) at the end of the DR4018 user guide.

Hi, Yep, YD6016LN-GND just needs a switch between "C" and input Nope, you would create a dead-short. Do you have a link to that video for me ? Greets, Karst

Re: S88N connected modules, should the status lights flash
Hi, It's like this: - YD6016LN provides a green heartbeat LED. As long as there is power and the module is not broken it will blink: ***.***. etc.? Frequency about 1 Hz. ( note that alle powered

Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
