I can't answer your actual question but you can configure individual outputs on a DR4018 to flash an LED directly. Check the description of CV113 (and CV112) at the end of the DR4018 user guide. You'll probably have to set preset CV47=1 so that the DR4018 is controlling sixteen individual on/off devices.?
